After a brief evaluation and confirmation, you will be sent to eBay’s site.

3. Use eBay’s templates for your listing.

You are not required to construct a listing from the start. Instead, let eBay provide a hand. Insert your item’s UPC code, ISBN, or other identifying identifier on the listing page. If the product is listed in eBay’s catalog, the site should generate a page with basic information like the title, summary or description, generic photo, etc. You then fill in the blanks: condition, more images, price, and delivery information.

If the item does not have a UPC or other identifier, you may usually begin with the appropriate template by supplying a specific name or title. In some circumstances, eBay may provide you with several templates to pick. Then, at the top of the listing page, click the box labeled “Prefill this listing with eBay catalog info” to guarantee that all of the item’s details show.

However, this insertion charge applies if you relist the item after removing it, duplicate it for auctions, or list it in a new product category. These costs are nonrefundable, even if your goods do not sell. You can avoid these costs if you offer fewer than 250 goods monthly. You’ll pay these costs plus $0.35 for each listing if you’re a major seller.
